How brave of the City of Atlanta considering last year that the City of Chicago was forced to pay the owners of Caballo's Bar $288,000.00 for a shockingly similar bar raid that occurred there in 2004. The case is VERY similar to what happened at the Eagle, except patrons in Chicago, while searched, were NOT handcuffed and forced to lie on the floor.

Perhaps an apology would have convinced some of the patrons whose rights were violated that evening NOT to pursue civil redress. Of course now that point is moot.

Good luck to all with their lawsuits. This entire incident was obviously wrong.

So, when do the multi-billion dollar civil rights lawsuits begin? Can't wait to see the city bankrupted for their homophobic arrogance!
